Cottman Transmission Ranked in Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500

The January 2003 issue of Entrepreneur Magazine published its annual ranking of the top 500 franchises in the United States. Cottman Transmission was ranked 100 in the annual survey. The factors considered in the ranking include financial strength and stability, growth rate and size of the system. Other factors included the number of years in business, start up costs, and length of time in franchising. Cottman Transmission has been in business since 1962 and has grown to 350 Centers in 41 states and Canada. The Company expects to open 50 new Cottman Transmission Centers in 2003.
