FORMER CEO OF DUNKIN DONUTS JOINS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Todd P. Leff, President and CEO of Cottman Transmission, LLC announced today the appointment of Robert Rosenberg to the company’s Board of Directors. From 1963, until his retirement in 1998, Mr. Rosenberg served as CEO of Dunkin Donuts. During his tenure, Dunkin Donuts grew from 100 units and $10 million in system wide sales to 3000 units and $2 billion in system wide sales.

His experience and record of achievement in franchising speak for themselves.” states Mr. Leff. “Cottman Transmission eagerly looks forward to being the beneficiary of Bob’s insight and ideas. Bob expertise in growth environments will undoubtedly help Cottman in our continuing development and expansion.”
Mr. Rosenberg is a member of the International Franchise Association Hall of Fame and has served as President of the IFA. He is currently Honorary Director of the National Restaurant Association as well as Honorary Director of the National Restaurant Association’s Education Foundation.
Cottman Transmission Systems was founded in 1963 and is headquartered in Fort Washington, PA. In 1999, Sentinel Capital Partners, a private equity investment firm located in New York, and senior management purchased the Company. There are currently more than 330 Cottman Transmission Centers operating in 40 states and Canada. Cottman Transmission had system wide sales in excess of $135 million in Fiscal 2001. Cottman Transmission has opened 100 new stores since July, 2000 and projects 35 new store openings for the balance of the year.
