“Cottman is proud to set an example for the automotive aftermarket industry,” said Derik Beck, Cottman’s vice president of digital marketing. “Families – especially kids – are an essential part of who we are. Many of our Cottman locations are family-run and operated, and we take our part in the community seriously. It’s the season of being thankful for what we have and to take opportunities to giveback.”

To that point, Cottman has designed the coloring book that it will be distributing to be packed with fun activities, images to color and car facts that kids will find fascinating and engaging. The coloring books serve a very special purpose, and will be taken to children’s hospitals in areas served by Cottman centers in order to brighten up the days of kids across the country during the holidays with a fun, engaging activity that underscores the brand’s commitment to its communities and customers.

A special thanks is in order to the team at Advance Auto Parts for partnering with Cottman to have subsidized the costs for the printing of the coloring books. “This is one of many ways that Advance Auto Parts supports the various communities we serve with trusted partners like Cottman,” said Scott Krinsky, Advance’s Director of Strategic Accounts. “We are excited to be part of this effort to provide fun activities for children that teach them the importance of car service at an early age.”

“True total auto care isn’t just about keeping the car clean and looking nice – it’s about making sure that the essential functions of the car are in great working order, providing a safe and reliable method of transportation for families everywhere,” said Beck. “Until you take a step back and look at the true meaning of our work, you may have a hard time realizing the importance of Cottman to countless families. The coloring book is yet another way we are connecting with our communities and reinforcing how meaningful that bond is to us and our customers – especially during the holidays, when we’re reminded of all that we have to be thankful for.”
